Child Abuse Prevention, Early Intervention,

and Treatment

           Child Haven, Inc. is 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation founded in 1983 with the mission to prevent the incidence of child abuse and neglect in Solano County, CA through the provision of effective and accessible services.  Child Haven provides intensive, nonresidential, early intervention child abuse prevention and treatment program targeting vulnerable families, their infants, and older children as well as an assessment and treatment program for the victims of abuse and neglect.  The organization provides a continuum of services: education and training, prevention, family support, assessment, early intervention, and therapy. A multicultural/multiethnic staff provides these services with attention to the child’s environment, medical needs, emotional, social, behavioral and cognitive development. 

           Child Haven’s professional staff includes psychologists, PhD and MS level child development specialists, licensed clinical social workers, and family support specialists.
