CARE Clinic

CARE (Comprehensive Assessment Research and Evaluation) Clinic is an early- assessment and intervention program for children with ongoing developmental, social, emotional, behavioral, sensory, and/or communication challenges (see Participant Criteria section below).  CARE runs 4 hours a day, 5 day’s a week for 10 weeks.  CARE is not an educational placement, but is structured like a school (see Children’s Participation section below).  children are assessed and observed to determine what they need and then they are taught skills to help them succeed at home, in school, and in the community.  Caregivers of the children also participate through parent meetings, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and daily communication with the CARE team (see Caregiver Commitments section below).
